Ingredients:
- 1 . Urad dal - 1/2 cup
- 2 . Onion - 1 finely chopped
- 3 . Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
- 4 . Ginger - 1/2 tsp grated
- 5 . Cumin - 1/2 tsp
- 6 . Salt - as needed
- 7 . Curry leaves - 1 tbsp chopped
- 8 . Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp chopped
- 9 . Oil - for deep fry
Steps:
- 1. Soak urad dal for 1 hour. Drain and grind it into smooth batter. Sprinkle water when you grind. don't pour water. May be you can sprinkle 1tbsp of water. Keep this in a bowl.2. Now mix chopped onion, green chilli, cumin, ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Add enough salt. Keep this aside.3. Heat oil in medium flame. Once it hot take a small portion of batter make a round shape and put small hole in the middle drop in the hot oil. Deep fry untill it cooked properly and it change to light golden colour.
- 4. Dry excessive oil in tissue paper and have with coconut chutney and sambar
