Ingredients:
- 1 cup urad dal or split black gram
- 2 green chillies
- 1 onion
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 20 fresh coconut small & thin pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon jeera
- 1/2 teaspoon ajivan or caram seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 inch cinnamon
Steps:
- Grind in mixer without water and make a fine paste. Cut onion into small pieces
- Crush jeera, ajivain, cinnamon with a little salt and make a rough paste of chillies and curry leaves.
- Cut fresh coconut small and thin pieces around twenty pieces. Add it all to urad dal paste. Mix well and deep fry in heated oil. Now it is ready to eat. Serve hot urad dal vada with any chutney or tomato sauce
