Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- 1 black cardamom
- 1" Dalchini
- 2 green cardamom
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 3-4 Cloves
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp garlic green chilli paste
- 2 tsp desi ghee
- To taste Salt
Steps:
- Take a pressure cooker heat desi ghee add cumin seeds asafoetida bay leaves and long dalchini green elaichi black elaichi and crackled them add Ginger green chilli paste fry until golden colour
- Add rice and dal,fry two or three minutes ;add turmeric powder Garam Masala and salt, add 4 Cups water and mix well close the lid of pressure cooker and give one whistle on medium flame
- After 5 minutes open pressure cooker Khichdi is ready to be served with papad.
