Urad Dal Ke Dahi Bhalle /Bade Recipe - Tenali Double Horse



Ingredients:

  1. 2 cup urad Dal
  2. 2 tbs chopped fresh coriander
  3. 200 gms fresh Curd(whisked and 1tbs spoon added)
  4. 1 tbs roasted cumin powder
  5. 1 tbs red chilli powder
  6. 1 tbs Fennel seeds
  7. to taste Salt
  8. 1 pinch heeng
  9. 1 inch ginger
  10. 2 Green chilli
  11. Aa needed Oil to deep-fry badas
  12. 1/4 cup Green coriander chutney
  13. 1/4 cup Tamarind khatti meethi chutney
  14. 1/2 cup sev or bhujiya

Steps:

  1. Soak urad dal for 3to 4hrs.drain it and grind it to fine paste adding ginger, green chilli, heeng. Make it fluffy using a spoon Adding saunf,salt, red chilli powder.
      
      
  2. Deep fry badas to crispy golden brown from both sides
      
      
  3. Take the badas out on tissue paper so that xtra oil gets absorbed
      
      
  4. Soak these badas in warm water adding little salt to water.let them in water fr abt 4to 5hrs. Badas will become soft by that time
      
      
  5. Press the water from badas and keep them on serving plate.Add sweetened curd. Then both chutney on all sides badas in plate.Sprinkle roasted cumin powder and red chilli powder salt. U can use homemade dahi bada masala too. Add some sev and chopped coriander on top.
      
      
  6. Ur dahi bada ready to serve to ur loved ones
