Tomato urad dal Recipe - Tenali Double Horse


Ingredients:


  1. 150 gm urad dal
  2. 1 tomato chopped
  3. 1 tsp fennel seeds
  4. 1 tsp ginger crushed
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. To taste salt and sugar
  7. As needed oil

Steps:


  • Wash and soak the daal for 30 minutes
      
      Boil the daal with salt and turmeric powder
  •   
      Heat oil and temper fennel seeds and red chilli whole
  •   
      Add ginger paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
  •   
      Add tomatoes and saute well till it is soft
  •   
      Now add the boiled daal
