Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina/sooji
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1pc Chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp chana daal/ Bengal gram
- 1/4 tsp urad daal/ Split black gram
- As needed Curry leaves
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- As needed Oil
- 1 tbsp crushed peanuts
- As needed Water
Steps:
- Take a mixing bowl,add roasted semolina with curry leaves, pulses, curd, salt, oil and water and mix it well. Pour all the mixed ingredients in a small bowl and steam it with steamer or a water bottom.
Steam for 20-25mins. After it cools down, keep aside in a plate.
Now take a frying pan, add oil and heat for a while, add mustard seed and fry until it colour changes into golden brown.
Semolina melino is ready to be served with tea.
