Semolina melino Recipe - Tenali Double Horse



Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup semolina/sooji
  2. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  3. to taste Salt
  4. 1/2 cup curd
  5. 1pc Chopped onion
  6. 1/4 tsp chana daal/ Bengal gram
  7. 1/4 tsp urad daal/ Split black gram
  8. As needed Curry leaves
  9. 1 tsp mustard seed
  10. As needed Oil
  11. 1 tbsp crushed peanuts
  12. As needed Water

Steps:


  1. Take a mixing bowl,add roasted semolina with curry leaves, pulses, curd, salt, oil and water and mix it well. Pour all the mixed ingredients in a small bowl and steam it with steamer or a water bottom.

     Steam for 20-25mins. After it cools down, keep aside in a plate.

  2.  Now take a frying pan, add oil and heat for a while, add mustard seed and fry until it colour changes into golden brown.

  3.  Semolina melino is ready to be served with tea.
