Ingredients:
- 1 cup white urad dal (dosa dal)
- Pinch asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp each Ginger garlic chopped
- 1/2 kg Mutton
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 2 Onion chopped
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 3 Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp Meat masala
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tsp each Ginger garlic finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Oil
- few Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Steps:
- Soak 1 cup dal in 2 cups of water for 1/2 an hour.Take microwave bowl add salt turmeric ginger garlic asafoetida etc and cook for 14 minutes with lid covered.Now take a pressure cooker add oil and saute onion and cumin seeds 1 tsp till pinkish add tomato and cook till mushy and soft,add mutton and all masalas and cook for 2 whistles then cool and open and saute for two minute add 1 cup of water and give 3-4 whistles on med flame now cool and open the pressure cooker mutton should be soft add dal and mix it garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves
Serve with chapatti and Parantha.Enjoy this yummy dal meat
