Banjara Dal Recipe - Tenali Double Horse
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup urad dal
- 1/3 cup chana dal
- 1/2 cup desi chana
- 1 pc. Tej patta
- 1 big onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tsp.cuminseeds
- 2-3 pc. Cloves
- 2 pcdry red chilli
- to taste Salt
- 1 tbspginger chilli garlic paste
- 1 tspred chilli powder
- 1 tspgaram masala
- 1 tsp. Asofoetida
- 1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp. Corriender
- Pinch soda
- 2 tb.ghee
- 1 tsp. Oil
Steps:
- Soak chana for 7-8hrs. Soak dal for 1/2hr. Boil dal chana add salt n soda. Make 5-6whistle.
Heat ghee in a pan add tej patta cinemon cloves dry red chilli crackle cumin seeds. Chopp onion n saute add ginger chilli garlic paste. Chopp tomatoes salt n saute properly. - Now add boil dal chana mixture add 1cup water garam masala turmeric powder stir well n cover the lid. Cook for 5-7min.
- Now make tadka :Heat ghee asofoetida dry chilli red chilli powder sprinkle chopp corriender on dal n pour tadka. Serve hot with rice chapati. Yummy delicious dal is ready to serve.
